The plain rules for your free preview, what we ask of you in return, and what happens if you decide to buy.
These terms apply to your use of the SiteBox website and to any website we design and build for you (“your preview site”). By requesting a website you agree to these terms.
When you request a website we design and build a custom preview site for your business at no cost to you. Requesting a preview does not oblige you to buy anything. Delivery times shown on our website are our usual times, not a guarantee.
In return for building your preview site for free, you agree to review it once it is delivered and to let us know whether you would like to use it. You confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you are authorised to request a website for the business you name.
You keep ownership of the content that belongs to you, including your business name, logo, text and images. You give us permission to use that content, and the public content of the website address you provide, only to prepare and show you your preview site. You confirm that you have the right to give us that permission.
Until you buy it, the design and build of your preview site, and our templates, code and other materials, belong to us. You may view your preview site but you may not copy, publish or reuse it, or any part of it, without buying it first.
If you decide to buy your website, we will tell you the price and exactly what is included before you pay. The details of that purchase, including launch on your own domain, are set out in the order you accept at that time, and those order terms apply together with these terms.
If you decide not to buy your preview site there is nothing to pay. We will not publish your preview site, and we may delete it after a reasonable time.
You agree not to misuse our website or services, including by submitting false information, attempting to access systems you are not authorised to access, interfering with the site’s operation, or using our services for anything unlawful.
Our website and preview sites are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of our website or your preview site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.
We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in place when you request a website applies to that request.
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where SiteBox is registered, and the courts of that place have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
